Mercy Meadows Developmental Homes provides loving, person-centered residential care and life-skills programs for adults with developmental disabilities in California's High Desert.
Every resident at Mercy Meadows is met with dignity, patience, and the belief that meaningful independence is possible for everyone, at every level of ability.
Warm, accessible group homes designed to feel like family โ not facilities. Private bedrooms, shared meals, and 24/7 trained caregivers.
Hands-on coaching in cooking, money management, hygiene, transit, and communication โ the building blocks of a confident, independent day.
Art workshops, garden therapy, music groups and supported-employment pathways that nurture purpose, talent, and community contribution.
Coordinated medical care, medication management, mental-health support, and on-site fitness โ wellbeing handled with quiet professionalism.
We never replace family โ we extend it. Regular updates, family nights, and transparent care plans keep loved ones close at every step.
Outings, volunteer work, faith activities, and neighborhood connections that turn "living in" Adelanto into truly "belonging to" Adelanto.

Mercy Meadows Developmental Homes was founded in Adelanto, California in 2023 to fill a quiet but urgent gap: adults with developmental disabilities who had aged out of family care and into institutions where they were merely managed, not known.
We opened our doors with one home, six residents, and a radical idea โ that "care" should look less like a checklist and more like a Sunday dinner. Today, we serve dozens of individuals through residential homes and day programs, and we are growing because the need is growing.
